Job description

Minimum Education:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Short order cooking and food preparation
2. Clean bar area and wash glassware
3. Serve food or snacks
4. Advise on wine selection and provide drink recommendations
5. Collect payment via cash, credit/debit cards, or other methods
6. Operate video lottery terminal
7. Record and reconcile beverage sales
8. Store and manage beverage and food inventory
9. Order bar stock and maintain inventory control
10. Address customer complaints or concerns
11. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations
12. Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
13. Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
