Job description

Banzai Sushi and Teriyaki House is seeking F/T Cooks

• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $17.00~$20.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~44 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 3
• Work Location: 7724 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB T2V 1K2
• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Cook complete meals and individual dishes following the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and monitor expiry dates of ingredients
• Order food, supplies, and equipment
• May assist in planning menus, determining food portions, and estimating food costs
• Hire and train new kitchen staff in preparation and handling of food
• Ensure the kitchen, food storage, and food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
