Job Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Banquet Captain, the supervisor actively participates in organizing banquet events. Responsibilities include organizing and supervising banquet and meeting services according to established standards, and performing supervisory tasks for restaurant outlets when required.

  • Motivate, supervise, train, and mentor service employees;
  • Ensure the smooth running of meals and coffee breaks;
  • Distribute work and plan schedules for servers and team members;
  • Perform administrative duties related to payroll and tips;
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and handle complaints appropriately;
  • Organize the assembly and disassembly of banquet halls;
  • Coordinate events to ensure their smooth operation;
  • Maintain effective communication within the department and with other hotel departments;
  • Optimize the use of facilities and adhere to budgets;
  • Conduct daily inspections of service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety standards.
Requirements / Skills:
  • Attestation of College Studies (ACS) or Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in hotel management or F & B;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Fluent in French and English (additional languages are an asset);
  • Strong customer service and anticipation skills;
  • Recognized leadership and professionalism;
  • Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure;
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and team management skills;
  • Autonomy and dynamism;
  • High availability and flexibility in working hours.
