Banquets Captain

Our Banquets Captains serve as ambassadors for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our food and beverage experience. Your warm, personal attention and knowledge while overseeing daily food and beverage operations ensure guests feel valued and special.

This is a full-time, permanent position starting in June 2025.

Starting Pay Rate: $19.75 per hour. Pay increases after 6 months and annually, reaching $26.20 after three years.

Job Duties
  • Ensure smooth operation of the Banquets department
  • Assist guests with menu items, providing informative and helpful service
  • Maintain full knowledge of beverage lists, promotions, menu items, and preparation methods
  • Motivate and support team members
  • Support the Banquets management team as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory experience (asset)
  • Focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership, motivation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • BC Serving It Right Certificate required prior to employment
