We are seeking a Banquet / Catering Supervisor for the Niagara Falls Convention Centre located in Niagara Falls.

Unit Description

We are steps away from the iconic Niagara Falls waterfall. Our venue offers over 200,000 square feet of convention space, we are located in the Entertainment District, and proximity to over 4,000 branded guest rooms.

Principle Function

The Banquet / Catering Supervisor at Sodexo Live is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of banquet events, ensuring smooth execution and exceptional service. This position involves managing banquet staff during events, ensuring adherence to company service standards, and addressing guest needs promptly and professionally. The Banquet / Catering Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact during events, facilitating communication between teams to maintain high-quality service and ensure client satisfaction. This role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. The Banquet / Catering Supervisor assists in the training and mentoring of staff, ensuring consistent performance and a positive team culture. By supporting the Hospitality Manager and taking ownership of event logistics, the banquet supervisor plays an integral part in the success of events at Sodexo Live.

Essential Responsibilities

Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
