Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent hospitality service at SAIT Curated Catering.
  • Work with the Catering Kitchen team to enhance customer experience.
  • Complete set up and tear down for banquet style serving.
  • Assist guests during events.

Education

Valid Alberta ProServe Certification

The Banquet Server for SAIT Curated Catering will have the opportunity to travel the SAIT campus and provide excellent hospitality service. You will work in tandem with the SAIT Curated Catering Kitchen teamto ensure the best customer experience possible.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong team player and able to work with little supervision
  • Required to work flexible hours. Must be able to work weekends, and closing shifts as needed.All shift times currently available (daytime included)
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and handle competing priorities
  • Experience in a food and beverage environment is an asset
  • Knowledge of banquet food service techniques is an asset
  • Completing set up, tear down, banquet style serving, and assisting guests.
  • Walking and standing are required for most parts of the shift.
  • Ability to lift, push, and carry items of 25 - 30lbs.
  • Must have valid Alberta ProServe Certification
