Job summary

West Edmonton Mall Property Inc. (West Edmonton Mall & Fantasyland Hotel) is seeking a part-time Banquet Server to support food and beverage service for banquet events. You will greet guests, set up tables, and maintain high service standards throughout events.

You will also assist with menu explanations, recommend items, and help with offsite events as needed. A Pro Serve certification and prior serving experience are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly and positive attitude with attention to details.
• Ability to take instructions and work in teams.
• Must have Pro Serve certification or be willing to take the training.
• Prior serving experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons politely and provide prompt, professional service at all times.
• Set up tables and décor prior to guest arrival.
• Ensure dishes and tableware are clean and ready; prep condiments and beverages.
• Serve food and beverages on time while remaining courteous and attentive.
• Understand menu to explain items and make recommendations on request.
• Assist in setup and teardown of banquet facilities for events.
• Accommodate special requests in consultation with banquet manager.
• Assist in removing dirty trays and store items properly.
• Occasionally work offsite for special events and functions.
