A reputable golf club is seeking a dedicated individual for a Full-time Seasonal position. Candidates must have 3 years of experience in banquets or restaurants and possess basic butchery and sauce-making skills. The role focuses on maintaining high food quality, compliance with kitchen procedures, and ensuring safe food handling. This position is available from April to December, ensuring an engaging work environment.

Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in Banquets and/or Restaurants.
  • Basic Butchery skills required.
  • Ability to create basic sauces.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a fast and safe manner to maintain food quality.
  • Compliance with kitchen procedures and schedules.
  • Assist with receiving and checking deliveries.
  • Maintain stock control to avoid wastage.
  • Ensure all food items are stored at approved temperatures.

Job description

Hidden Lake Golf Club is Hiring!

Job Requirements:

  • Work in a fast, safe and efficient manner especially during service times so as to achieve consistently high food quality in a productive and cost effective environment
  • Comply with kitchen procedures, recipe and prep sheets, cleaning schedules and all other duties required to work in an efficient kitchen
  • Assist as required with receiving deliveries and checking for product quality, quantity and price
  • Maintain efficient stock controlling methods for all kitchen-related products, specifically towards maintaining shelf life, stock rotating to avoid wastage and spoilage.
  • Maintain all food items at the approved temperature to prevent contamination or health risks
  • React in a confident, attentive, polite and calm manner

Qualifications:

  • Dedicated to a high level and standard of food quality
  • Highly creative and motivated
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills.

Must Have:

  • 3 Years experience in Banquets and/or Restaurants
  • BasicButchery
  • Basic Sauce Making

This is a Full-time Seasonal position from April to December.
