Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in a lead server or supervisory role in luxury hotel/restaurant.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Must be able to obtain a Serving It Right certificate.

About the role:

Join our dynamic, diverse team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler as the Full Time Seasonal Banquet Captain .

Our work environment pairs a strong commitment to excellent service and authentic experiences with an emphasis on creativity and innovation. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many, we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance.

Hourly Wage: $ 25.00 - $27.00

What you will do:

  • Oversee the operations of banquet functions in the absence of and alongside the F&B Manager.

  • Assist the Manager in ensuring staff adherence to service standards.

  • Ensure all guests are content and well served.

  • Monitor the overall smooth running of events, both on-site and off-site.

  • Foster a strong team environment among staff members.

  • Ensure staff engagement and satisfaction in their day-to-day roles.

  • Step in and serve as needed during events.

What you bring:

  • Hospitality Education, preferred.

  • At least 2 years in a lead server or supervisory role, ideally in a luxury hotel/restaurant environment.

  • Strong knowledge and passion for everything food and beverage

  • Strong command of the English language

  • Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service.

  • Must be able to obtain a Serving I t Right certificate .

  • Valid work authorization for Canada

Schedule & Hours:
