Our corporate bankers are relationship-focused professionals responsible for understanding complex financial issues facing our clients worldwide, and driving dialogues on capital structure, funding, risk management strategies, transactional banking solutions, and other international, cross-border financial solutions. In partnership with the Investment Banking Division, our Corporate Bankers deliver strategic financing related to M&A advisory assignments, often in conjunction with Equity Capital Market solutions.

We’re committed to teaching you the ropes. The 2-year Analyst Program begins in July 2026 and includes comprehensive training in New York. During your role, you'll build relationships and collaborate with seasoned finance professionals. By the third year, Analysts may have opportunities for internal mobility. In our Corporate Banking program, you will become a relationship-focused finance professional responsible for understanding complex financial issues globally. You will learn to drive client dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity, funding strategies, risk management, and investment solutions. Our program also teaches you how to decide where to invest the firm’s capital and how to execute those investments. Corporate Bankers work closely with various Citi groups including Risk Management, Investment Banking, Markets, Capital Management, and Capital Markets Origination.

Your responsibilities will include...

• Originating revenue from valued clients globally and having primary responsibility for approving and committing the firm’s capital.
• Accessing a full spectrum of corporate finance products including high-grade and high-yield capital markets, loans, derivatives, structured finance, securitization, FX, and transaction services.
• Analyzing and understanding clients' financial conditions, risk profiles, industries, and business activities.
• Conducting financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and capital markets analysis.
• Researching companies and industries, performing due diligence on transactions.
• Collaborating with product partners to adhere to Citi's credit policies.
• Maintaining databases of comparable and precedent transactions.
• Developing presentations and information memoranda for clients.
• Supporting various product groups in creating marketing materials.
• Writing approval memos for transactions for credit committee review.
• Staying updated on industry developments and interpreting legal documents.
