Banking Advisor - East Toronto Area

** We have multiple branch locations across the Greater Toronto Area, and are hiring multiple candidates for this position. You must be fully available to work during RBC's retail branch hours, including extended hours Monday through Saturday until 8:00 PM and Sundays as applicable. Apply today! **

What is the opportunity?

This role requires client-focused sales expertise and problem-solving skills to maximize each client interaction. You will assist clients with their banking, credit, and investment needs, adding value in key moments and collaborating with RBC partners to help clients achieve their goals. Your efforts will create meaningful client experiences, driving satisfaction and loyalty.

What will you do?

  • Engage proactively with clients in-branch and in the community to identify banking needs and opportunities
  • Educate clients and demonstrate digital banking tools to enhance their experience and drive sales
  • Respond to client-initiated inquiries, assisting with various financial transactions
  • Listen actively to understand clients' individual needs
  • Resolve and prevent banking issues proactively
  • Maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course) or willingness to obtain during training
  • Passion for client service and success in a target-driven sales environment
  • Problem-solving and relationship-building skills
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong ethics, and motivation for success
  • Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops)
  • Availability to work all open business hours

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in building client relationships within financial or service industries
