Job Summary

Join RBC as a Client Service Associate, where your client-focused sales expertise and problem-solving skills will help maximize each client interaction. You will assist clients with their banking, credit, and investment needs, adding value during key moments and collaborating with RBC partners to achieve client goals. Whether demonstrating digital banking or referring complex opportunities to specialists, your expertise will contribute to creating meaningful client experiences that drive satisfaction and loyalty.

What will you do

  1. Proactively engage with clients in the branch and community to uncover banking needs, provide advice, and identify sales opportunities.
  2. Focus on client education and demonstrations, leveraging technology to deliver memorable experiences, drive sales, and retain business.
  3. Respond to client-initiated contacts, assisting with a full range of transactions.
  4. Actively listen and engage clients to understand their individual needs.
  5. Take ownership of resolving and preventing banking problems.
  6. Maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

What do you need to succeed

Must-have

  • Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
  • Passion for putting clients first and success in a target-driven sales environment
  • Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong ethics, and a hunger for success
  • Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
  • Availability to work all open business hours

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within financial or service industries
