  • THIS IS AN 18 MONTH CONTRACT TO COVER A MATERNITY LEAVE

What is the opportunity?

This position requires your client-focused sales expertise and problem-solving skills to maximize client interactions. You will assist clients with banking, credit, and investment needs, adding value as an RBC ambassador. Your role involves demonstrating digital banking, onboarding new clients, and referring complex cases to specialists, all contributing to memorable client experiences that foster satisfaction and loyalty.

What will you do?

  1. Engage proactively with clients in the branch and community to identify needs, provide advice, and spot sales opportunities.
  2. Educate clients and demonstrate technology to deliver memorable experiences, drive sales, and retain business.
  3. Respond to client-initiated contacts, assisting with a range of financial transactions.
  4. Listen actively to understand clients' individual needs.
  5. Resolve and prevent banking problems proactively.
  6. Maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
  • Passion for putting clients first and success in target-driven sales environments
  • Problem-solving and relationship-building skills
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong ethics, and a hunger for success
  • Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
  • Availability to work all open business hours

Nice-to-have

  • Experience building rapport and maintaining client relationships in finance or service industries
