Role: Locum Vascular Scientist/Sonographer
Banding: Band 7/8a
Location: Swansea
Hours: Full-time/Part-time
Rate: £52 – £65 per hour
Duration: 3 Months
Start date: ASAP

The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated band 7/8a Vascular Scientist/Sonographer to join our team in Swansea. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will perform vascular ultrasound examinations and assessments. You will analyse and interpret diagnostic data to provide accurate reports. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in vascular science and technology. You will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • SVT or equivalent accreditation.
    • Proven experience as a Vascular Scientist.
    • Relevant qualifications and certifications in vascular science.
  • Desirable:
    • Proven ability to conduct independent vascular scanning and reporting.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
