Job summary

Safeway in Swift Current is seeking an In-Store Bakery Sales/Service Clerk to create a welcoming experience with friendly service and fresh bakery displays. You’ll help customers find items, assist with special orders, and ensure bakery products are neatly stocked and rotated.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, setting up displays, wrapping and slicing bread, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Availability evenings and weekends is preferred to support store hours.

Responsibilities

• Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations.
• Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Assist customers with product selection and special orders.
• Set-up and maintain displays of bakery product.
• Wrap and slice bread products.
• Fill showcases in department and ensure bakery products are properly displayed and rotated.
• Perform general cleaning and sanitizing duties.
