Job summary

Sobeys Inc. in Canada is seeking a Baker’s Helper to deliver high‑level customer service while adhering to food safety standards and standard operating procedures in a fast-paced grocery environment.

You will assist the Baker/Supervisor, rotate stock, prepare equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting ovens and product preparation and engaging customers with a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal / people skills.
• Good business knowledge of the food retail industry.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all Food Safety Protocols, SOPs, Health and Safety, corporate policies and programs.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Thrifty Foods policies and procedures, including department SOPs.
• Performs duties of the Floor Maintenance Program.
