Job summary

Four Rivers Co-operative is seeking a Bakery/Deli Associate in Vanderhoof, BC. You will prepare a range of bakery and deli items, assemble trays, and help merchandise while upholding the co-operative values. The role requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Daytime shifts plus evenings, weekends and holidays are required.

Location: Food Store in Vanderhoof, BC

Reporting to the Bakery/Deli Manager you will be responsible for the following:

• Demonstrating Four Rivers Co-operative’s values of Responsibility, Integrity, Service, and Excellence
• Working co-operatively with team members who deliver excellent service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here”
• Preparing sandwiches, salads, pizzas, hot food items, proofing, baking, and packaging bakery items
• Assembling deli meat and cheese trays
• Merchandising deli counters and rotating products
• Organizing, labeling, and rotating bakery products
• Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor
• Performing general housekeeping

What you bring:

• Able to work daytime shifts in addition to evenings, weekends and stat holidays
• Experience in retail in a similar position
