Job summary

Four Rivers Co-op in Vanderhoof, BC is seeking a Bakery/Deli Associate to prepare sandwiches, salads, pizzas and bake goods, while maintaining bakery and deli displays. You will also assemble deli trays, merchandise counters and keep the sales floor clean and organized.

The role requires daytime shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, with a focus on teamwork, attention to detail and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Able to work daytime shifts plus evenings, weekends and stat holidays.
• Experience in retail in a similar position.
• Basic computer skills and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sandwiches, salads, pizzas, hot food items, proofing, baking, and packaging bakery items.
• Assemble deli meat and cheese trays.
• Merchandise deli counters and rotate products.
• Organize, label, and rotate bakery products.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
• Perform general housekeeping.
