Sobeys Inc. is seeking a Variety Clerk to help keep our health and beauty sections well stocked and accessible, ensuring customers have a quick, easy shopping experience. Full training is provided for this position, and no prior experience is required.

• Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations
• Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
• Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with Safeway’s programs
• Stocking product to shelves
• Maintaining and building merchandise displays in compliance with Safeway programs
• Ensure standards of department presentation and operations are met; including cleanliness, rotation, ordering and superior customer service
• Responsible for ordering and inventory control
• Completion of associated paperwork
• Ensure proper backroom procedures are being met
