Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Familiarity with food preparation, baking and decorating techniques is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation including mixing, baking, and boiling bagels.
• Glaze and decorate donuts to meet quality standards.
• Fry donuts according to guidelines and standards.
• Package baked items efficiently while maintaining food safety and hygiene.
• Prep glazes, syrups, toppings and fillings.
• Support kitchen team with food handling, cleaning and sanitary workspace.
• Follow all food safety protocols to ensure health regulations.
• Maintain organization of ingredients, supplies and baking tools.
