**JOB IS LOCATED AT A REMOTE CAMP in Northern Saskatchewan. TO START ASAP.
**WE COVER YOUR TRAVEL (Flight or shuttle service OUT OF SASKATOON or PRINCE ALBERT), MEALS, & ACCOMMODATIONS when at site!
**REQUIRES SHIFT WORK (11-hour days) & COMPRESSED WORKWEEKS; SCHEDULES ARE 2-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS.
**THIS POSITION REQUIRES NIGHT SHIFTS.
**YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST.
The baker reports to the chef and prepares enough bakery goods (including sugar free products) for normal daily operation. Also responsible for breakfast operations, sandwich making, and is required to assist during break coverages. Other duties include:
- Providing a list ingredient requirement to the chef for ordering.
- Completing special client function orders (ex. Cake decorating, cookie platters).
- Production of individual desserts, as per daily requirements.
- Deep cleaning bakery equipment regularly and/or as needed, including ovens.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and report all incidents.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous Kitchen Experience is essential.
- Previous supervisory experience in a kitchen is a strong asset.
- Possession of Food Safe Certification considered an asset.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to perform duties in a safe & efficient manner.
- Physical ability to perform the assigned duties.
- Knowledge of safety procedures associated with working with hazardous products, including knowledge of WHIMIS.

- Requires night shifts at a remote northern camp location.
- You will be away from home & family for 2-weeks at a time.
