Job summary

Abbey's Bakehouse & Sips Refreshers in Mississauga, ON is seeking a dedicated Baker. You will prepare and bake signature products, maintain high standards, and collaborate with the café team to ensure fresh, delicious items throughout the day.

The role requires passion for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays is required. Food Handler Certification is an asset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bakery, pastry shop, café, or commercial kitchen.
• Passion for baking and producing high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of fresh baked goods throughout the day.
• Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality.
• Decorate, finish, and merchandise baked products to Abbey’s presentation standards.
• Monitor product freshness and maintain attractive bakery displays.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and ingredient preparation.
• Work closely with the café team to keep products stocked during busy periods.
• Help create a positive, supportive workplace where teamwork and craftsmanship are valued.

Your Role

• As a Baker, you’ll prepare and bake our signature products
• while helping maintain the high standards that Abbey’s Bakehouse is known for.
• You’ll work alongside our café team to ensure fresh, delicious products are
• available throughout the day, creating an exceptional experience for every
• guest. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys baking,
• values attention to detail, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
