Position: Bagger Operator

Shift Schedule: flexibility required to work various shifts - morning, afternoon and nights

Location: 122 Carrier Drive. Etobicoke, ON. M9W 5R1

Pay: $18.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Monitor the line/equipment to ensure smooth operation
• Set up bagger equipment and program while ensuring timely changeover to maximize production efficiencies
• Setup and maintain Kwik loc machines, EM Baggers and Tortilla lines
• Fill up the Bagger pre inspection sheet and other paperwork related to the line
• Monitor and troubleshoot muffin indexing area
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, jams, etc.
• Perform line checks (metal detector and Weight check, etc.)
• Retrieve product bags from stock area ensuring UBE bag supply
• Assist in product handling during line issues (overflow due to baggers being down) and repacking product as required
• Maintain clean work area
• Perform additional tasks as directed

Requirements

• Possess some degree of mechanical aptitude;
• Ability to think, troubleshoot and react to situations;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction;
• Ability to work in an efficient but safe manner;
• Strong multi-tasking skills;
• Excellent attendance record;
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal)
