Trouw Nutrition is hiring a permanent full-time Bagger Operator for our Sherwood Park, AB location.

About The Role: You will operate an automated bagging system, in a fast-paced environment, ensuring proper quality stock rotation.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining proper stock rotation

Operating automated bagging system

Organizing work areas to ensure safety and cleanliness

Ensuring work space is clean and organized

Ensure quality standards are met

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent

2-3 yrs. experience in a grain facility, mill or manufacturing industry is an asset

Skills:

Class 5 license an asset

Forklift and skid steer experience is an asset

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Basic computer skills and numeracy and accuracy

Strong problem solving and decision making abilities

Willingness to be coached and learn processes

Expectation from the Role:

Full-time; Shift Work Rotation; Overtime as required; Permanent.

Ability to work shift work is a MUST. Mandatory Shift 10 hour shift and soon 10 am – 10 pm and 10 pm – 10 am. 4 days on / 4 days off

Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly bend and twist, open and close lids, climb ladders and work at heights, and lift 25 kgs.

Physical Work Conditions: Often exposed to loud sounds, distracting noise levels, and dusty environment.
