Position Title: Backend Developer (Intermediate)

Location: Chelsea, QC

Work Model: Remote (must be located in Canada)

Our client is looking for ambitious Backend Developers to help build and scale their growing SaaS platform in the Fintech space. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining APIs, deploying cloud-based applications, and building robust backend services. Quality and reliability will be at the core of your work, supported by thoughtful testing strategies to ensure system stability.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking passionate, solution-oriented developers with experience building enterprise-level backends and deploying them in cloud environments. You have strong API design skills, a good understanding of frontend integration, and a hunger to learn and grow. You’re collaborative, team-oriented, and not afraid to take ownership and drive projects independently when needed. You’re looking to make an impact—both by contributing to a dynamic platform and by growing your own skills alongside a forward-thinking team.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, data structures, and MongoDB
• Experience with cloud platforms and serverless architecture
• Python scripting experience is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative teams and under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, self-starter attitude
