Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is one of the largest school divisions in Alberta, serving the education needs of approximately 17,950 students in 42 schools. EIPS is recruiting new Bachelor of Education graduates for the Substitute Teacher List for the 2024-2025 school year.

Open to: Internal and External candidates graduating from a Bachelor of Education program in the Winter of 2024-25. Other graduating classes are permitted to apply.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Education
  • Must be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate
  • Effective organization and classroom management skills
  • Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Experience or familiarity analyzing data and using data to inform decision and/or instruction
