B-Pressure Welder

SUMMARY:

We are actively recruiting for a B-Pressure Welder to join our team. They will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on pressure vessels, piping systems, and other components in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:

• Permanent
• Monday-Friday, day shift (over-time required)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Grade B Pressure Welder certification.
• Minimum of three years of experience in pressure welding in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in various welding techniques and processes.
• Strong understanding of welding ASME codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to perform welding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to pass all position welding test.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform welding tasks on pressure vessels, piping systems, and other components using various welding techniques
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements.
• Ensure all welding work meets quality standards and complies with relevant codes and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify the integrity and quality of welds.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently.
• Document welding activities and maintain accurate records.
• Perform other duties, assignments and special projects as directed
