Job summary

Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to join the Enterprise Security team in Canada. You will protect the environment by identifying cybersecurity concerns and improving security controls, reporting to the Director of Enterprise Security.

Responsibilities include verifying security solutions, producing security reports with scripting, and handling SIEM tickets by filtering false positives for defined Use Cases. Strong certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Azure and Azure-based security modules (Sentinel/Defender, CA, AIP).
• Familiar with Data Loss Prevention technologies (DB and AI controls).
• Experience with anti-malware and forensic technologies.

Responsibilities

• Confirm security solutions are working properly (AV, firewalls, IPS).
• Produce meaningful security reports using scripting and data modeling.
• Process SIEM-generated tickets and identify false positives for Use Cases.
