Job summary

Sharp Brains Limited in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking an experienced Azure Local VDI / Azure Infrastructure Engineer on a 1099 contract full-time basis.

You will deploy and manage AVD environments, configure VMs, networking, and storage, integrate Azure AD, manage FSLogix profiles, monitor performance, enforce security, and handle backups and disaster recovery while providing L2/L3 support and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Microsoft Azure experience.
• Windows Server 2019/2022 knowledge.
• FSLogix profile management experience.
• PowerShell scripting proficiency.
• Experience with Intune & Endpoint Manager.
• Hyper-V or VMware virtualization knowledge.
• Microsoft 365 administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments.

• Integrate Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.
• Manage FSLogix profiles and Azure Files/NetApp Files.
