Job summary

BDO Canada is seeking a Co-op or Intern DevOps Engineer to join the AppDev team from January to April 2027. You will design and manage Azure cloud environments, implement security controls, and build CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and GitHub. You will script with PowerShell or Python and contribute to Azure-related services for clients.

The role supports learning across DevOps practices and cloud technologies, with opportunities to broaden skills in Azure data services and automation.

Qualifications

• Candidate for Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) / Terraform experience.
• Python scripting ability.
• PowerShell or Shell scripting familiarity.
• Jenkins or GitHub or Azure DevOps experience.
• Azure REST API knowledge.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Azure data tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and support defined Azure cloud environments and security controls.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and IaC tooling.
• Write scripts in PowerShell, CLI, and Python.
• Develop tasks in CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Jenkins).
• Develop and maintain Azure security policies.
• Contribute to service offerings for clients.
