Job summary

Desjardins Group Data Platform Department is building the foundation for the Desjardins data strategy and supporting a data-driven approach across the company. As an Azure Data Platform Administrator, you will roll out and operate the new Desjardins Group data platform within an Azure cloud environment, employing IaC, CaC and CD practices to support DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum six years of relevant platform administration experience.
• Experience with Azure environments (Compute, networking, analytics, security, monitoring, DNS, Kubernetes).
• Experience in IaC (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD and pipeline management).
• Experience managing Azure data platforms.
• Analytics experience.
• Proven experience in roles that require managing complex or urgent situations.
• Professional experience in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
• Proven experience managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
• Microsoft Azure certifications.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Proficiency with scripting in PowerShell, Python or a similar language.
• Solid command of infrastructure: Proxy, firewall, Active directory, DNS, Telecommunications (network interconnection).
• Knowledge of security rules configuration and implementation (RBAC, ABAC, Policy).
• Knowledge of agile environments: Jira, Confluence.

• Co-create with partners to understand business intentions and standardize solutions accordingly.
• Identify system optimization opportunities and resolve highly complex problems during major incidents.
• Lead software package installations and testing and application rollout.
