We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our Tech team in either Ottawa or Vaughan. In this role, you'll design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure. You will play a key role in advancing our cloud strategy by applying your expertise in automation, identity governance, and cloud security to support enterprise-wide digital transformation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based infrastructure and services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Monitor and maintain Azure resources including virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and databases.
  • Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and identity governance solutions.
  • Automate deployments and configurations using PowerShell, Intune, and other Microsoft tools.
  • Ensure security and compliance using Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and policy-based governance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, connectivity, and configuration across Azure environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, security, and operations to support cloud initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with Azure updates, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Manage and support Microsoft Exchange 365 Online and configure Exchange Online Protection (EOP) for email security.
  • Understand Microsoft Purview compliance and governance.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Sentinel.

Job Requirements :

  • 5+ years of experience operating as a Cloud, Network, and/or Security Specialist.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with Exchange Online and EOP.
  • Experience configuring and managing Microsoft Defender for Cloud and endpoint protection.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel for security operations.

Preferred Certifications :

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
