We’re seeking someone to join our Microsoft App Platform (MAP)] team as an Azure and PowerPlatform DevOps Engineering Specialist to evaluate new cloud products and integrate them into Morgan Stanley's standard solutions.

The team aims to make the public cloud a preferred platform for Morgan Stanley IT. This global team designs secure, robust solutions that help development teams build new applications and migrate existing ones to the cloud.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering III position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for managing and optimizing technical infrastructure and ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems to support business needs effectively.

What you’ll do in the role:

• Support rapid growth and adoption of Power Platform, moving from early adopters to early majority within two years.

• Work to enhance productivity and modernize tools, influencing the firm's transformation for years.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• At least 4 years of experience with migrating/deploying applications to Azure, PowerPlatform and Dynamics365

• Experience with PowerPlatform, D365 and Azure cloud architecture design and application integration/refactoring to work with public cloud

• Expert knowledge on infrastructure as code languages such as Terraform

• Expert scripting skills (e.g. Powershell, Python)

• Experience of designing systems to scale in an enterprise environment

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, ability to work closely with multi-discipline teams, business partners, and sponsors

• Strong sense of operational ownership and ability to drive engineering and development initiatives

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global organization and across time zones

• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, both written and orally, to diverse audiences
