Job summary

E.G. Gray Transportation is family owned and operated servicing Canada and the US for over 30 years. We are recruiting AZ/T/T owner operators for our US division. Work from our yards in Oshawa, Etobicoke, London, Peterborough or Trenton and run steady cross-border lanes.

Lanes include FL, WI, MN, TX, PA, NJ, MI, VA, NC, AL, GA, KS and MA, with most freight being LTL. Benefits include paid drops/hooks and paid waiting time after the first hour, plus customs delays after 1 hour.

Qualifications

• Must have FAST Card
• 1 year AZ/T/T driving experience
• AZ Licence is required

Responsibilities

• Insurance and satellite installation coordination
• Bi-weekly settlement with direct deposit
• Out of province coverage and HVUT/compliance responsibilities
• Paid drops/hooks and paid waiting time after 1 hour
• Paid customs delays after 1 hour

Steady lanes include but not limited to; FL, WI, MN, TX, PA, NJ, VI, MI, MO, VA, NC, AL, GA, KS & MA etc. both LTL and TL with the fast majority being LTL, mostly no touch freight.

COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Insurance
• Satellite installation and all satellite communication fees
• Annual inspections
• Bi-Weekly Settlement with direct deposit
• Fleet discounts available for tires and other parts

CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT) and Customs Decal/Transponder
• WSIB or equivalent coverage
• Out of province coverage
