Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight on Canada-wide and Canada–U.S. routes.
  • Complete deliveries and pickups within the assigned region, safely and timely.
  • Operate tractor-trailer equipment per company policies and regulations.
  • Secure freight using straps, chains, and load bars; ensure load-securement standards.
  • Transport general freight in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
  • Accurately complete e-logs and delivery documentation.
  • Maintain hours-of-service compliance and safety policies.
  • Maintain flexibility for overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight across Canada-wideand Canada–U.S. routes
  • Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations within assigned region in a safe, timely, and professional manner
  • Operate tractor-trailer equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Secure freight using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, and load bars, ensuring compliance with load-securement standards
  • Transport general freight in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation, including e-logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork, and incident reports
  • Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations, safety policies, and company procedures
  • Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required
Core Requirements
  • Valid AZ driver's license (manual transmission required)
  • Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada and travel to US
  • Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract
  • Verifiable recent commercial driving experience within the past 3 months to 1 year
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations, hours of service, and load securement
  • Experience operating commercial vehicles in winter driving conditions
  • Ability to accurately complete eLogs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentation
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs as required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, safety-focused approach
Role-Specific Requirements (Apply as Applicable)

Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class 1 / AZ driving experience

Legally eligible to enter the United States with valid documentation

  • 6 months of Cross-border and Canada-Wide driving experience
  • Mountain driving experience considered an asset
  • FAST Cardconsidered an asset

Previous experience operating specialized equipment manual pallet jacksand pump trucks

Ability to safely perform hand-bombing, including manual loading and unloading of freight, as required
