Responsibilities

• Transfer product between Barrie - Stayner.
• Shunt trailers for shipping.
• Unload trailers at receiving dock when needed.
• Maintain trailers and coordinate repairs with vendors via email.
• Ensure PMs and annual safety checks are completed for trailers.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Complete INR paperwork for damaged products and manage vinegar rework totes daily.
• Secure trailers in the yard and follow GMPs and safety rules.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by warehouse supervisor.
• Complete daily service logs and safety checks for MTO.

AZ Shunt Driver – Afternoon Shift

THIS JOB OFFERS:

• $26.00 Per Hour plus $1.50 Per Hour for Shift Premium
• Overtime after 40 Hours
• Work Monday-Thursday 2:30PM until 1AM
• Off every Friday, Saturday & Sunday

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Transfer product between Barrie - Stayner
• Shunt trailers for shipping
• Unload trailers at receiving dock from time to time
• Maintain trailers and request repairs from vendors in a timely manner via email in order to have written records of repairs requested. Bring trailers to vendors in Alliston and Toronto as required for repairs.
• Ensure PM’s and annual safety’s are completed before expiry for trailers using designated vendors
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Fill out INR paperwork for damaged products and empty vinegar into rework totes daily
• Secure trailers in the yard
• Follow good manufacturing practices and procedures
• Follow occupational health and safety rules and regulations
• Assist with any other duties as assigned by warehouse supervisor
• Complete daily service logs/safety checks for MTO

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Need to have good computer skills including Microsoft Outlook for email communication
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Must have a clean driving abstract
