Job description

Title: Shunter

Location: Brampton, ON

Wage: $24.68/hr. + $1.00/hr. weekend shift premium (paid on payroll only)

Shift: Days/Afternoon/Nights

Shift Available: Monday to Friday OR Sunday to Friday

Overtime as required

Immediate opening available in Brampton. We are seeking a shunter who has previous experience either on the road or shunting. This position is long term with applicable overtime after 44 hours and available benefits after 3 months.

Job Duties:

• Ability to hook up and move trailers at a steady pace
• Complete required paperwork
• Adhere to all safety measures
• Complete moves using radio or scanner
• Perform yard checks when required

Job Requirements:

• Preference of 1 year of shunting experience
• Ability to start earlier or stay later than posted shift
• Experience with radio, tablet, or scanner
• Willing to provide abstract & CVOR dated within 30 days
• Willing to provide criminal background check
