Job summary

Southern Logistics Inc. is expanding and seeks a skilled AZ Truck Driver (Owner Operator) with a reefer trailer to join our cross-border team.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of tractor/trailer experience, a clean CVOR, and the ability to cross the border while maintaining safety and on-time deliveries. You will operate AZ-class trucks, perform pre-trip to post-trip inspections, keep logs, coordinate with dispatch, and uphold company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years tractor/trailer experience.
• Clean CVOR and driver abstract.
• Ability to cross the border.
• Proven experience with reefers.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and freight handling procedures.
• Well maintained truck and reefer trailer.

Responsibilities

• Operate AZ-class trucks to transport goods locally, regionally, or cross-border (as applicable).
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while following assigned routes and schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and cargo.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, reports, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates.
• Submit regular equipment maintenance reports.
