AZ Driver Position Highlights:

• Location: Timmins, ON
• Shift: Day shifts starting between 3-5 am, Monday to Friday (possibly Saturdays)

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

• Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean commercial driver’s abstract
• Physically fit to repeatedly lift, stack, pull, and carry heavy items (up to 80 lbs)
• Strong communication and customer service skills with fluency in English
• Previous professional driving experience preferred
• Ability to work in various weather, temperature, and road conditions

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing exceptional service to build and maintain customer relationships
• Manually sorting and unloading food products, hand-wheeling them into customer locations using ramps and stairs (approx. 600 - 1000 cases/shift)
• Operating straight trucks or trailers safely over urban, short inter-urban, and rural routes
• Conducting routine pre/post-trip inspections and maintaining accurate records
• Verifying product delivery at customer locations and maintaining invoices
• Following health and safety procedures

Depot Specific Job Requirements:

Please note that in addition to the above, the following criteria apply for all depot-specific positions:

• Flexibility to cover nearby depots as needed, including deliveries and night routes for vacation or sick coverage
• Ability to work weekends
• Availability for full 10-13 hour shifts
• Hours may fluctuate based on weather and business needs
