Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily pre-trip inspections in compliance with CVOR/MTO requirements.
  • Operate vehicles safely and professionally under the Highway Traffic Act.
  • Secure and manage loads using chains, straps, and tarps as required.
  • Complete trip sheets, logbooks (if applicable), inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
  • Report defects, issues, or incidents promptly to supervisors or dispatch.
  • Maintain professional interactions with customers, residents, and on-site personnel.
  • Adhere to transportation regulations, safety policies, and company protocols.
  • Refuel vehicles, top up fluids, and perform basic minor maintenance.
  • For AZ Drivers: operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and multi-axle setups, including coupling/uncoupling.
  • For DZ Drivers: operate straight trucks (dump trucks, flatbeds, etc.) and perform loading/unloading as required.

Skills

Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license

Location/Address: 818 Jones Road, Kenora, ON

Hours of Work: Full-Time and/or Seasonal

Wage: Competitive and based on experience
