Job description

As a driver at Beacon, you will travel locally to deliver construction materials to our customers, while adhering to and understanding safety policies and regulations.

A clean driving record and customer service skills are a must! Experienced, safety-conscious, and customer-focused drivers are encouraged!

We are looking for an experienced driver with AZ license to join our team in Whitby, ON.

• Hiring bonus of $1,000 ($500 after 3 months of continuous service and $500 after 12 months of continuous service)

What will my day to day look like?

• Perform pre-departure checks
• Carry out the delivery of materials in a safe manner
• Keep the various registers up to date
• Respect delivery times
• Ensure compliance of transport documents
• Ensure that the goods, the trailer and the truck are in good condition and clean
• Assist in the preparation of orders
• All other related tasks
