Qualifications

  • Gültiger AZ-Führerschein und sauberes Fahrtenbuch erforderlich.
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit schweren, übergroßen Lasten ist von Vorteil.

Responsibilities

  • Lieferung von Baugeräten an Kundenstandorte, insbesondere Hubgeräte.
  • Tägliche Fahrzeuginspektionen durchführen und den Zustand der Ausrüstung überwachen.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Deliver a diverse fleet of construction equipment to customer jobsites (primarily aerial equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, etc.).
  • Load and unload equipment; secure loaded equipment per company procedure and inspect in transit if necessary.
  • Pick up equipment from customer sites.
  • Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records.
  • Perform vehicle inspections daily, as well as checking gas, oil and other fluid levels.
  • For deliveries, secure customer signature on contract, if not already signed.
  • Inform supervisor of difficulties with deliveries or pickups.
  • Inform management of new sales opportunities and job sites.
  • Double check delivered items to make sure customers receive exactly what they ordered.
  • If equipment is missing or broken upon pick up fill out the appropriate forms and get customer’s signature. Turn in these forms to Branch Manager, along with pick up sheets. Tag and move broken equipment to repair area at the branch.
  • Communicate with your branch if behind schedule, so customers may be contacted.
  • Instruct customers on equipment operation.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than three demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.
  • Highly safety-focused and professional; take pride in your vehicle and your responsibility as a driver.
  • Familiar with local roads and comfortable with city driving.
  • Experience moving heavy oversize loads is preferred. Prior experience with heavy construction equipment, especially aerial lifts, is an asset.
  • Flexibility and adaptability; must be comfortable with adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team-player with effective communication skills.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work overtime when needed.
