Job description

GFL Environmental is seeking a safe and experienced full-time AZ Driver for immediate hire.

Location:

219 Industrial Park Crescent, Sault Ste Marie, ON.

Position Details:

The AZ Driver will primarily complete long haul deliveries throughout Ontario with various trailer setups, including recycling, refuse, heavy equipment, landscaping supplies, aggregates, bins, etc. Some third-party and inter-company hauling across Canada and the US may be required. Experience with heavy hauling and walking floor trailers is an asset.

219 Industrial Park Crescent, Sault Ste. Marie. In-person applications are accepted.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5 years of experience.

• Complete services per company policies and contracts.

• Complete end-of-day paperwork and driver check-ins.
• Adhere to "Safe For Life" practices.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

• Valid AZ license with a clean drivers abstract and CVOR.
• Physically fit.
• Experience with dump trucks, walking floor, heavy/oversized loads, live-bottom/end dump trailers, flat deck, and float transportation is an asset.
• Flexible to daily changes and able to work weekends/nights as needed.
