Drake International is seeking a reliable Construction Cleaner to join our Kingston, Ontario team. You will clean and prepare newly built or renovated apartments for occupancy, handling dust, debris, and surface cleaning with attention to safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have prior cleaning experience, physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced construction environment. Weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in construction or post-renovation environments.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.

Responsabilités

• Post-Construction Cleaning: Clean newly constructed or renovated apartments, including removing debris, dust, and dirt from floors, walls, windows, and surfaces.
• Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of construction debris and other trash from the premises.
• Detailed Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, including carpets and tile surfaces.
• Wipe down and sanitize countertops, cabinets, and appliances.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Scrub and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and floors.
• Dusting & Surface Cleaning: Dust and wipe down light fixtures, baseboards, vents, and other surfaces.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and used safely.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Inspection: Perform final inspection to ensure high cleaning standards before handover.

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Cleaner to join our team in providing post-construction cleaning services for apartment buildings.

This role is responsible for ensuring that newly built or renovated apartments are thoroughly cleaned and ready for occupancy.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This position is located in Kingston, ON.

Key Responsibilities

• Post-Construction Cleaning: Clean newly constructed or renovated apartments, including removing construction debris, dust, and dirt from floors, walls, windows, and surfaces.
• Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of construction debris, leftover materials, and other trash from the premises.
• Detailed Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, including carpets and tile surfaces.
• Wipe down and sanitize countertops, cabinets, and appliances.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
