Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Crossborder Driver in Cambridge, Ontario to transport freight across Canada and the United States under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor. You will handle dispatch paperwork, maintain logs, and ensure timely deliveries while upholding safety standards.

This full-time role requires minimal supervision, the ability to work in all weather, and strong English communication. A valid AZ/Class 1 license and Fast Card are essential, with benefits including PTO, health

Qualifications

H.S. Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 9 months verifiable commercial driving experience.
No more than one moving violation in the last 12 months.
AZ/Class 1 license with air brake endorsement.
Ability to read maps and follow GPS directions.
Advanced English reading/writing proficiency.
Valid Fast Card required.

Responsibilities

Operate a tractor-trailer to pick up and deliver freight within the U.S. and Canada.
Complete driving and delivery paperwork (logs, inspections, distance records).
Oversee vehicle condition and loading/unloading of freight.
Unload freight using appropriate handling equipment when required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
