What you'll do

Technical Expertise & Quality Assurance

• Peer review corporate year-end files, working with our Client Concierge
• Complete detailed reviews of corporate year-end files, following our consistent process
• Lead compilation and review engagements
• Deliver on the deadlines we promise to clients
• Mentor others to improve quality and efficiency

Communication & Client Relationships

• Respond to client requests, questions, and suggestions in a timely manner
• Adapt your approach to each client's needs and preferences
• Foster a positive relationship between clients and their team
• Build long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients

Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead, mentor, and coach our Client Managers and team members to grow their technical abilities
• Engage in team training and invest in others' professional development
• Lead by example and jump in where needed
• Keep growing your own knowledge to better serve clients and guide the team
• Be an engaged part of a positive culture

Business Growth

• Listen for pain points in current client relationships and provide solutions
• Identify further opportunities with existing clients
• Ask for and follow up on referrals from current clients
• Develop new business by reaching out to prospects

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
• Valid CPA designation
• 5+ years of experience in accounting/financial management
• Proficiency with computerized accounting systems; experience with Karbon and TaxCycle preferred
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks
