Status: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines usingEMR and Spark (PySpark)
• Implement and manageAWS Lake Formationfor secure and governed data access
• Contribute to the development and adoption ofdata mesh solutions, enabling decentralized data ownership and interoperability
• Write and maintaindata quality checksto ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data assets
• Build out data catalog solutions on AWS
• Support lightDevOps tasks, with a strong preference for experience inTerraformfor infrastructure as code

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or platform engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience withAWS EMR,Spark (PySpark), andLake Formation
• Familiarity withdata mesh architectureand its implementation in enterprise environments
• Proficiency in writing robustdata validation and quality checks
• Experience working within structured frameworks and agile environments
• Exposure toDevOps practices, especially usingTerraformfor provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure
