Job summary

Apptoza Inc. is seeking a senior AWS/cloud engineer to design, implement and operate large-scale AWS environments. You will manage multi-account setups, enforce least-privilege security, and optimize networking, IAM, and CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires hands-on expertise with EC2, EKS/ECS, Lambda, S3, and IaC tooling to deliver scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. Ontario-based position with Toronto area opportunities; remote options not specified.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and managing enterprise AWS multi-account environments.
• Expert knowledge of IAM, permission boundaries, cross-account access, trust policies, and least privilege security.
• Strong AWS networking skills including VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, VPC endpoints, Route 53, and load balancers.
• Hands-on with EC2, EKS/ECS, ECR, Lambda, S3, SQS, KMS, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Python or shell scripting, CI/CD automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting complex infra.
