Tekshapers in Toronto, ON is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, AWS CDK and CloudFormation.

You will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, deploy containerized workloads in Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS), and enforce security through policy-as-code and robust monitoring across cloud environments.

Qualificações

• Experience designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation).
• Strong background building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services.

Role: AWS Devops Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON

Mode: Fulltime

Job Description:-

• Core Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
• Develop, manage, and optimize CICD pipelines (Github Actions).- Build, deploy, and operate containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS).
• Ensure security and compliance through policy-as-code tools (Open Policy Agent).
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud environments for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate and streamline operations and processes.
• Support serverinfra management and implement robust monitoring and observability solutions.
• Apply networking and security best practices for cloud-native and hybrid workloads.
• Proficiency in at least one language (TypescriptJavascript preferred, Python, Node.js)

Required Skills Experience-

• Linux Strong command-line and scripting skills.
• Programming Proficiency in at least one language (TypescriptJavascript preferred, Python, Node.js).
• Cloud Experience Hands-on experience with AWS andor Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code Experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• CICD Experience designing and implementing pipelines, preferably with Github Actions
• Containers Experience with Docker knowledge of orchestration platforms such as KubernetesEKSECS.
