Job summary

Overview

Title: Full stack developer

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Duration: 6 months

Description

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong background in AWS technologies to join our team. This role involves working on large and complex projects, focusing on developing and migrating applications to the AWS cloud.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development on large and complex projects
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Microservices, AWS CDK, API Gateway, Aurora DB, Dynamo DB, Core and Advanced Java, J2EE, JUnit Automation, and JavaScript
• Experience in developing web applications and API microservices
• Proficient in building applications on AWS cloud technologies
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Strong experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and similar tools
• Experience in software analysis, testing, debugging, and updating to ensure compatibility with all web browsers

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with containerization tools such as Kubernetes, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or similar
• Proficiency in CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Ansible
• Hands-on experience with GitHub
• Working experience with Linux, Bash, shell scripting, and Python

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the technology team to migrate web applications from on-premise to AWS
• Develop various AWS services such as API, RDS instance, and Lambda to build serverless applications
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
• Ensure applications are thoroughly tested and debugged
